Trulli (#1)

Today’s paintings are based on photos I took while visiting the Trulli region of Puglia, Italy. Made of dry stones and circular roofs, these huts were constructed to avoid paying taxes as they were not considered permanent structures.  My challenge with this image was to capture all the different tones of white, even in shadow. The Blackbird paid his visit to this painting.
